The process of seeking justice can be a transformative tool to combat gender-based crimes.

FemJustice Helpline: +91 9019548792 // Call us on Thursdays and Fridays (12pm to 4pm)

The FemJustice Centre is a space where the process of seeking justice can be a transformative tool to combat gender-based crimes, while also recognising the survivor-client’s agency, lived reality, and desires for justice. The Centre works to improve existing support systems and create new alternative pathways so that survivors can access justice that is healing and empowering.

The FemJustice Centre works at the intersection of our pathways to change to provide a comprehensive approach to transforming support systems for survivors of gender based violence through feminist justice practices and principles.

Capacity Building

Trainings, workshops and courses on feminist and trauma-informed lawyering. We have trained 2,000+ persons on related themes since the inception of the Centre in 2019. If you would like to run a workshop or training with us, get in touch.

FemJustice Helpline

Preliminary legal and mental health support for survivors of gender-based violence, specifically domestic violence, sexual violence, sexual harassment, acid attacks, other grievous injury, forced marriages, online violence and rape. We have assisted 60+ survivors in accessing legal and mental health care since the launch of the helpline in 2020. Call us on +91 9019548792 on Thursdays and Fridays (12pm to 4pm).

Knowledge Building & Dissemination

We seek to ensure survivors and their support ecosystems have access to nuances and accurate resources when it comes to gender-based violence and feminist justice. A key part of our work involved building resources, manuals, e-books and interactive games as a way to engage more people. If you'd like to see a demo or commission us to create such a resource for you, please get in touch.

Nurturing Safe Spaces

We recognise that not everyone will want to take a formal legal route towards justice. We hold space twice a month for our FemJustice Healing Circle facilitated by Pragya Lodha, Clinical Psychologist and Program Director of Mental Health at One Future Collective. The group is open to all cis women, trans persons, intersex persons and non binary identities. It is held every second and fourth Sunday of the month and runs in batches, every six months. The current batch is now closed but please sign up to get a notification for the next one.

Trigger Warning: suicide

This is the first time I have spoken to someone with no judgement, thank you for taking the time to speak with me.

These trainings should be made compulsory for every person.

I will no longer silence my thoughts and opinions.
