Thinley best describes herself as ‘a little curious, a little serious and a little rebellious’. She is a Tibetan born and brought up in the Tibetan Refugee settlement in India. She grew up listening to her grandfather’s tales from Tibet and their struggles of living in exile. Thinley has been committed to volunteering for the Tibetan freedom movement since the last five years and over this journey, has also engaged herself to work in different spheres because she has strongly believed in the strength of intersectional activism.
