Surhan, a patient’s rights advocate and member of the Pakistan Mental Health Coalition, is a non-binary neurodivergent person of colour. With a focus on autism, they’ve been advocating for mental health and neurodiversity for four years. Raised in a Sindhi and Shia household, Surhan’s diverse background has instilled resilience and empathy, emphasising inclusivity in their advocacy efforts.
