Smrithi Manamohan is an Assistant professor of Psychology and a freelance Bharatanatyam dancer based in Bangalore. When she is not teaching a class or rehearsing in the studio you can find her curled up with a book or exploring food joints across the city. As an Ambedkarite, feminist and psychologist Smrithi believes in the need to work for social justice. Her academic pursuits have led her to pursue research in the area of Caste and Psychology and her lifelong tryst with the so called Classical arts have led her to exploring the role of caste in the arts.
