Apurupa is a 27 year old lawyer-turned-sexuality educator, writer, researcher, trainer and an intersectional, sex-positive, queer feminist. She works in the realms of gender, sexuality, safety, body neutrality, and identity, and how emotional well being is connected to those aspects. She is currently pursuing a course on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and Effective Facilitation from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She is also the founder of Bibliotherapy, a mental health book club and support group in Mumbai.
