Position Title: Senior Officer, Consulting 

Reporting to: CEO

Role: Hybrid 

Benefits: 5000 INR towards health insurance, accident cover of 25 lakhs, free telehealth services, and an L&D budget.

About the Role: This is a full-time, hybrid role, focused on adult learning and facilitation. This will involve baseline and impact assessments, design and development of learning experiences and products, facilitation, and delivery of relevant projects. 

We are headquartered in Mumbai with team members based in cities across urban India. 

Joining date: Rolling (latest, March 2026)

Key Requirements

  1. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in adult learning, pedagogy, and facilitation. 
  2. At least 1 year of relevant full-time work experience in adult learning, including curriculum research, facilitation, capacity building, development of learning materials (asynchronous courses, toolkits, frameworks, guides, etc.) and related roles. 
  3. Exposure to designing or facilitating learning sessions for adult audiences, particularly in matters of social justice and human rights, using feminist pedagogy. 
  4. Experience in participatory facilitation for small and large groups, both virtually and offline. 
  5. Ability to synthesise knowledge from different sources, build interlinkages and apply it to knowledge products and services.
  6. Is able to demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, ability to take ownership, and problem solve in a manner that is creative. 
  7. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and group of stakeholders, and respond positively to constructive feedback. 
  8. Excellent interpersonal skills along with a demonstrable ability to communicate with clarity, both orally and in writing.. 
  9. Has a learning mindset, eager to explore new areas of knowledge, motivated to upskill themselves regularly, and ability to stay updated with all relevant developments in the fields relevant to our work.

Roles and responsibilities:

Execution of Consulting Agreements 

  1. Learning Design and Pedagogy 
    1. Lead the development of curriculum and learning engagements for the purposes of different programmes, consulting projects, and initiatives using relevant methodologies. 
    2. Lead the design of the learning experience in a manner that is interactive and rooted in feminist, participatory, and spiral-learning methodologies. 
    3. Co-develop curriculum, session plans, facilitation guides, and learning resources in response to the emerging needs of the programme and/or partner organisation. 
    4. End-to-end management of the communications, logistics, and monitoring of the impact of the learning sessions. 
  2. Facilitation and Delivery
    1. Co-facilitate the learning engagements in a manner that is able to blend practical and theoretical knowledge, resulting in an increase in the knowledge levels of the participants. 
    2. Co-facilitate learning engagements which take place virtually, offline, for smaller groups (up to 50 participants) and for larger groups (50+ participants). 
    3. Assist in managing group dynamics, timekeeping, documentation, and participant engagement.
    4. Gradually take on independent facilitation as and when required. 
    5. Develop learning products (such as self-paced courses, toolkits, guides, activity books, etc.) as may be needed to supplement or in addition to the learning engagements. 
  3. Supporting Business Development
    1. Support in drafting and development of suitable proposals/applications to be submitted for potential consulting opportunities.

Additional Notes
Please note that all deliverables under this vertical are varied and require a high amount of willingness and capacity to innovate. This role requires the candidate to be comfortable with picking up streams of research and information that they may not have engaged with extensively in the past.
